I’m super excited to share a sequel to our beloved Mother’s Day scrapbook layout. Today, we dive back into those cherished moments with a layout that captures more than just smiles—it captures the essence of family and friendship during a special Mother's Day event at my son's school.
Materials Used:
Paper and Cardstock:
Using the elegant CTMH "Sweet Memories" collection.
Digital Art Kit:
Embellishments derived from the CTMH Sweet Memories Digital Art Kit, intricately cut with my Cricut®.
Colors:
A harmonious blend of Periwinkle, Mulberry, Mist, Mink, Sage, and Vanilla enhances the vintage feel.
Crafting the Layout:
This layout builds on the heartfelt memories of that sunny Mother’s Day, featuring not just family photos but also capturing my son's interactions and his spirited school performance.
Base and Background:
The layout uses Vanilla cardstock overlaid with carefully chosen patterns from the "Sweet Memories" collection.
Photo Arrangement:
Accommodates six photos, each double matted in Mulberry, Sage, and Periwinkle to emphasize the vibrant captured moments, with one photo spot cleverly repurposed for journaling—a signature touch of mine.
Title and Embellishments:
The title, “Mommy Day Memories,” is designed in Design Space® and cut with the Cricut®, nestled amid digital art kit embellishments that add depth and narrative to the layout.
Reflecting on the Process:
Revisiting these moments through scrapbooking allowed me to not only preserve these memories but also appreciate the growth and changes over the years. Adjusting from a seven-photo layout to six enabled more space for storytelling, which is pivotal in personalizing the scrapbook.

This layout is more than just paper and glue; it’s a time capsule of love, laughter, and the simple joys of motherhood. It’s about creating something that will inspire and evoke nostalgia every time we turn the page.
