Last week, I focused on gratitude, but this week, I’m spreading love with this stunning, easy-to-create card featuring the Stampin’ Up! Regal Winter DSP, So Swirly 3D Embossing Folder, and the Hearts of Elegance Stamp & Thin Cut Bundle.
Crafted with beautiful hues of purple and Fresh Freesia, this card is perfect for letting someone know how much they mean to you—any time of the year. Best of all? It’s simple, fast, and versatile enough to customize for any occasion!
Materials Used
Here’s everything you’ll need to recreate this card:
• A2 Card Base
• Stampin’ Up! Regal Winter DSP
• Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss Cardstock (8 1/2 x 11)
• Stampin’ Up! White Willow 12 x 12 Cardstock
• Stampin’ Up! So Swirly Embossing Folder
• Stampin’ Up! Hearts of Elegance Stamp & Thin Cut Bundle
• Stampin’ Up! Fresh Freesia Cardstock (8 1/2 x 11)
• Stampin’ Up! Pecan Pie Adhesive-Backed Dots
• Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss & Gold Ribbon
• Stampin’ Up! BlackBerry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad
• Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer
• Stampin’ Up! Adhesive & Glue
• Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare Your Card Base:
A pre-purchased A2 card base is the foundation for this vertical card.
2. Layer Your Mats:
• Cut a mat from Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss Cardstock is slightly smaller than the A2 card base and adheres to the front.
• Add another mat in Stampin’ Up! White Willow Cardstock, embossing it with the So Swirly Embossing Folder using the Stampin’ Up! Cut & Emboss Machine for texture.
3. Create the Focal Point:
• Die-cut two hearts in different sizes using the Stampin’ Up! Hearts of Elegance Thin Cut Bundle.
• For the larger heart, use Stampin’ Up! Regal Winter DSP, Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, and Fresh Freesia Cardstock for layered dimensions.
• Position the hearts in the center of the card for balance.
4. Stamp the Sentiment:
Stamp “Love You” directly onto the bottom right corner of the embossed White Willow Cardstock mat using the Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad.
5. Add Finishing Touches:
• Tie a bow using Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss & Gold Ribbon and adhere it beneath the hearts for a polished accent.
• Place Stampin’ Up! Pecan Pie Adhesive-Backed Dots around the card for added texture and detail.
