Close To My Heart paper collections are known for their stunning designs and high-quality materials, but what truly sets them apart is their versatility. This flexibility allows crafters to use the papers for a variety of projects beyond their intended purpose!
The moment I laid eyes on the papers from the "Let's Go Anywhere" collection, I knew they were meant to bring my Disney "Soarin'" memories to life. The blues, red and gray tones of the papers perfectly complemented the colors in my photos, and would create a harmonious and visually striking backdrop for my layout.
The inner motif of the Disney "Soarin'" features images of old planes & plane parts hung on a metal siding. To complement this motif, I knew I wanted to use embellishments that created a sense of movement and excitement. The airplanes on the stamp sets would be a perfect way to accomplish this!
When you are on the "Soarin'" ride, you are treated to breathtaking views of iconic California landmarks such as the beaches in Malibu, the majestic Golden Gate Bridge, and the natural wonders of Yosemite National Park. I decide that the best ways to capture these scenic locations, and create a visual narrative of the journey, would be to place stars and arrows around the page in strategic locations.
For the title, I wanted it simply to be the name of the ride! I found this SVG on Esty
As I arranged the papers, photos, and embellishments on my scrapbook page, I was struck by how effortlessly the elements came together to tell the story of our Disney "Soarin'" adventure. The paper collection served not only as a decorative backdrop but also as a storytelling tool, helping me convey the thrill and joy of that memorable experience through visual elements that resonated with the theme of the ride.

The collection's vibrant colors, travel-themed motifs, and coordinated embellishments seamlessly blended with my photos, creating a visually captivating and thematically cohesive layout that brought our memories to life in a creative and meaningful way.
I LOVE how this page turned out! Without the versatility of Close To My Heart Collections, I would have never been able to think outside the box and create this fun Disney "Soarin" scrapbook layout!
