What started as a simple crafting session turned into something much bigger—a mission of gratitude!

I set out to personally thank each of my 150 customers with a handmade thank-you card. But with that many cards to make, I needed designs that were beautiful, unique, and easy to mass-produce without feeling repetitive.

In my original blog, I shared the Regal Winter DSP thank-you card set I created for this challenge. But I didn’t dive into the full instructions—so now I’m giving you the step-by-step breakdown!

💖 This blog focuses on Card #1 from the set, walking you through every detail so you can recreate it or put your own spin on it!

If you loved the first design but wanted a closer look at the process, you’re in the right place! And don’t worry—Card #2 is coming next!

Let’s get crafting! 🎨✨

BASIC WHITE 8-1/2" X 11" THICK CARDSTOCK

Step 1: Prepare Your Card Base

• Start with a 4.25” x 5.5” card base.

• If you don’t have a pre-made card base, cut a piece of Basic White 8-1/2” x 11” Thick Cardstock down to 8.5” x 5.5”

• Score at 4.25” to create a fold.

💡 Pro Tip: Scoring your cardstock before folding helps prevent cracking and ensures a crisp, professional finish!

Step 2: Cut the Designer Series Paper (DSP) & Cardstock Strips

• Cut three strips of Regal Winter DSP to 1” x 4”.

• Cut two strips of coordinating cardstock to 1” x 4”.

💡 Pro Tip: Arrange your strips in different patterns before adhering them to find a look you love!

Simple Steps to make a quick & easy card!

Step 3: Adhere the Strips to the Card Base

• Start with patterned DSP strips on both ends.

• Alternate between cardstock and DSP strips as you work your way across the card face.

• Ensure each strip is aligned evenly for a polished, balanced look.

💡 Pro Tip: Use a T-ruler or grid paper to keep everything straight and aligned!

Step 4: Cut & Layer Deckled Circle Dies

• Die-cut two circles using the Stampin’ Up! Deckled Circle Dies:

• One from coordinating cardstock (or use the Color Coach for a fresh color combo!).

• One from Basic White cardstock (this will hold your sentiment).

• Lightly ink the edges of the larger circle with a Sponge Dauber in a matching ink color for added depth.

💡 Pro Tip: Inking the edges of die cuts creates a soft, blended effect and makes your layers stand out!

Step 5: Stamp the Sentiment

• Using the Autumn Expressions Stamp Set, stamp the sentiment “Grateful for You” in the center of the white Deckled Circle using a coordinating Stampin’ Up! Classic Stampin’ Pad.

• Adhere the white circle onto the larger inked circle to create a layered focal point.

Add Silver Sprigs for Elegance

Step 6: Add Silver Sprigs for Elegance

• Die-cut small sprigs from Brushed Silver Foil.

• Adhere them to opposite corners of the card for a touch of shine and balance.

💡 Pro Tip: Placing metallic accents in opposite corners creates visual harmony and prevents one side from looking too heavy!

Assemble the Card’s Focal Point - The Deckled Circle Centers

Step 7: Assemble the Card’s Focal Point

• Adhere the layered deckled circles to the center of the card over the DSP strips.

• This creates a beautiful focal point that anchors the design!

💡 Pro Tip: Want an alternative look? Try swapping the deckled circles for square dies for a modern twist!

Floral Accents for the Finishing Touch

Step 8: Floral Accents for the Finishing Touch

• Using the Regal Flora Stamp & Thin Cut Bundle, stamp and die-cut floral elements in coordinating colors.

• Arrange the smallest florals first, layering them around the bottom right-hand corner of the deckled circle.

• Using foam tape, pop up the largest floral in the center to overlap the two smaller ones.

💡 Pro Tip: Staggering flowers at different heights creates depth and a more organic, natural look!
