You already know I live for Design Space®! It’s my go-to tool for organizing my scrapbook layouts before making a single cut.

I used Cricut’s Print & Cut feature for this layout to create the “Pumpkin Patchin’” title. This eliminated guesswork and gave the design a professional, polished look.

🍁 Double Matting – The Secret to a Professional Look!

If you want photos that POP, double-matting is non-negotiable.

✅ It adds depth & dimension to your layout.

✅ It frames photos beautifully without overpowering them.

✅ It makes your entire page look polished & put together.

For this layout, I double-matted my 4x6 and 3x3 photos using Cajun Craze & Willow White Cardstock.

To tie it all together, I double-matted the base layout with Sweet Days of Autumn DSP for extra depth.

🍂 Step-by-Step: Bringing the Layout to Life!

Crafting magic in progress! 🍂✂️ All the embellishments are cut, colored, and prepped for their big debut on this fall-inspired layout. Who else loves seeing everything come together before the final masterpiece?

1️⃣ Stamp, Color & Cut Embellishments

• I stamped all the scarecrows, hay bales & cornstalks using CTMH’s “Hay Friend” Stamp & Die Set.

• Colored them using Stampin’ Blends Markers for bold, fall colors!

• While the ink was set, I cut my DSP & cardstock layers based on my Design Space® sketch.

2️⃣ Create the Background & Photo Mats

• Started with Autumn to Remember Two-Tone Cardstock as my base layer.

• Cut the Sweet Days of Autumn DSP into layered strips to add a cozy, rustic feel.

• Positioned double-matted photos across the layout in two rows.

• Added title at the top for a bold focal point!

3️⃣ Arrange Fall Embellishments

Time to add those cozy fall details! ✨

• Placed scarecrows & hay bales near the title & photos to create a visual triangle.

• Added Pumpkin Pie-colored leaves & sunflowers for extra warmth & texture!

• Used foam tape for 3D dimension!

4️⃣ Journaling – A Fun Twist on Placement!

Instead of placing my journaling in the bottom right corner, I left space in the top right corner of the layout for a fun, unexpected twist!

✍️ Pro Tip: Write your journaling in pencil first, then trace over it in ink for a perfect finish!
