Nothing But Cardstock - "Drumstick" Scrapbook Layout & Idea

Hey there, fellow crafters! 🎨✂️

Welcome back to my scrapbook world where I'm beyond excited to show you my latest creation using nothing but cardstock - Nothing But Cardstock - "Drumstick" Scrapbook Layout & Idean you believe it? No fancy patterns, just the pure beauty of Close To My Heart cardstock shining bright in all its glory.

I stumbled upon some adorable photos of my little man's excitement over drumsticks during movie night - his expressions were priceless! This sparked the idea of crafting a layout that resembled a box of drumsticks.

I meticulously selected the different colors of cardstock I would need to bring my vision to life:

Each color added its unique touch to the layout, enhancing the overall design.

Adding a personal touch, I decided to incorporate my son's adorable way of pronouncing "original" into the journaling on the layout. It's these little details that make scrapbooking so special and meaningful, capturing not just the moment but also the emotions and memories associated with it.

Using the design tools, I found these digital Ice cream cones on Design Space. I carefully cut out and assembled each element, bringing my drumstick box scene to life.

The intricate details of the cuts required precision, but the result was well worth it. A touch of Journey ink added the perfect finishing touch to the layout, enhancing the ice cream cone circles.

And voilà - "You Got Me Drumsticks" was born! A 12x12 Ice Cream Scrapbook layout featuring two photos and entirely crafted from cardstock. Who knew that a simple idea could turn into such a fun and visually appealing design? I'm so proud of how it turned out and can't wait to add it to my scrapbook collection.
