Wondering How To Scrapbook Your Disney Captain America Photos? Try This Patriotic Scrapbook Layout!

Updated: Sep 7

Hello, everyone! April here from This Chick Loves Paper, and today I’m excited to share a special scrapbook layout that captures a magical moment—meeting Captain America at Disneyland during our annual Christmas vacation.

This layout is crafted using the same versatile design as a previous Halloween layout, proving just how adaptable a good layout can be for any occasion.

Inspiration and Beyond:

This layout, originally inspired by Jayma Malme’s fantastic YouTube tutorials, not only helped me create a wonderful memory keepsake but also propelled me into the world of scrapbooking as a CTMH Maker. It’s amazing how moments like these spark our creative journeys, and I want to extend a big thank you to Jayma for her inspiring designs!

Materials Used:

• Patriotic-themed papers (red, white, and blue)

• White and blue cardstock for double matting photos

• Design Space® for crafting the title and embellishments

• Cricut® for precise cutting

Crafting the Layout:

1. Design and Cut: I crafted the layout in Design Space®, creating a title “I’m With You… Until The End of Time” to echo a famous quote from the Captain America movies. The title and embellishments were precisely cut with my Cricut®

.

2. Photo Arrangement: The layout features 3 double-matted photos from our encounter, including humorous and slightly awkward moments my son had when meeting his hero for the first time.

3. Patriotic Theme: Utilizing red, white, and blue papers, the layout embraced a Fourth of July theme, perfect for Captain America.

Reflecting on the Craft:

This page serves as a wonderful memory of my son’s first interaction with a Disney character but also showcases his growth and the fun of our family vacations. The layout blends whimsy with patriotic flair, capturing the excitement and the nuances of the moment in a visually engaging way.

Sharing the Joy:

What started as a fun way to document a simple meeting turned into a cherished memory, emphasized by the creative process. The reactions from family and friends, especially the pride in my son’s eyes as he showed off his photos, were truly heartwarming.

Inspiration and Beyond:

This layout, originally inspired by Jayma Malme’s YouTube tutorials, not only helped me create a wonderful memory keepsake but also propelled me into the world of scrapbooking as a CTMH Maker. It’s amazing how moments like these spark our creative journeys.
