I don’t have a craft room; I have a coffee table! (Thank goodness it’s oversized)! If you have read My Story - How & Why I Began My Crafting Adventure, then you know, my scrapbook is a surprise for my little man! When speaking about my book, I often refer to it as my "project".
I keep a big stack of papers on my table right next to my project. In case my little man happens to come into the room I want to be able to cover everything up in a hurry!
So, one day, his friends came over, they walked in the door, saw my stack, and said “WOAHHHHH, that’s a lot of paper”!! They didn't ask any questions, just went into my son’s room and hung out for a while.
As they were leaving, I was sitting at the table, and as each one of the boys walked by said “Lot of paper”, “Lot of paper”! The little man was at the back of the line, and as he walked by, he said “This Chick Loves Paper”!
Embracing my love for all things paper, ‘This Chick Loves Paper’ emerged as the perfect expression of my creative identity—thanks to my little man for inspiring this fitting name!
Oh, and if you are wondering, the stack is 9 inches tall! It really is a lot of paper! LOL!
