The moment I opened the Hello Darlin’ collection, I knew I was about to fall head over heels for CTMH. The nostalgic patterns, soft florals, and dazzling fireworks motifs made this the perfect collection for documenting those warm summer nights, joyful celebrations, and of course—Independence Day magic!

🎆 Crafting a 4th of July Hello Darlin’ CTMH Scrapbook Layout That Shines

Nothing says summer nostalgia like a 4th of July scrapbook layout, and this one is bursting with patriotic charm! Using CTMH’s Hello Darlin’ collection, this layout captures the fireworks, family, and fun that make Independence Day so special. From layering techniques to dimensional embellishments, let’s dive into how this scrapbook page came to life!

For this 12x12 double-page layout, I took inspiration from a sketch by the talented Allison Davis. (Thank you, Allison, for the creative spark!)

✨ Crafting a Firework-Worthy Layout: Step-by-Step

📌 1️⃣ Building the Base:

I started with a classic double-page design, using deep blues and soft reds to balance the bold patterns of the Hello Darlin’ collection. The floral elements softened the design, while the fireworks added that perfect celebratory pop!

📌 2️⃣ Layering the Details:

Decorative art with floral patterns, stars, and shapes in red and blue. Texts: "SHINE BRIGHT," "Happy Birthday," "CELEBRATE," "These are the Best Days," "Hello Sunshine." — The Hello Darlin’ Digital Art Kit brought this patriotic scrapbook layout to life with custom-cut embellishments!

To create depth & movement, I layered patterned papers and used foam adhesive to make the title and embellishments stand out. The Hello Darlin’ Digital Art Kit provided stunning elements that I printed and cut to add even more dimension & charm.

📌 4️⃣ Final Touches: Bringing the Celebration to Life

No 4th of July layout is complete without a little extra sparkle! I used clear shimmer accents on the firework designs and small gold embellishments to mimic the glimmer of sparklers.
