Today, I'm excited to share with you a special scrapbook layout that captures a heartwarming Mother's Day moment from when my little man was in kindergarten. It’s a story of a simple gesture filled with immense love—a single flower that made my day unforgettable.
Materials Used:
Patterned Paper and Cardstock: CTMH "Sweet Memories" collection featuring elegant vintage designs in colors like Periwinkle, Mulberry, Mist, Mink, Sage, and Vanilla.
CTMH Stamps: “Say It With Flowers” set for delicate floral designs.
Tools: Circut®️ Design Space®️ for creating sentiments and butterflies, Tri Blend markers for coloring.
Embellishments: Hand-drawn stitching on circle mats, stickers from the collection for the main title.
Crafting the Layout:
The layout is built on a Vanilla cardstock base, accented with vertical strips of both patterned and solid cardstock from the "Sweet Memories" collection. The design includes:
Double-Matted Circles: Cut and layered to add depth, with hand-drawn stitching for an artisanal touch.
Floral Stamping: Using the "Say It With Flowers" stamp set, I created a series of colored flower clusters that embellish the circles, forming a visual triangle that guides the eye across the page.
- **Sentiments and Butterflies:** Crafted in Design Space and strategically placed to complement the floral arrangements.
Title:Integrated using a beautifully designed sticker from the collection, tying the theme together seamlessly.
Story Behind the Layout:
This scrapbook page preserves the memory of a Mother's Day celebration at my son's school. What made this day so special was a small yet significant gesture by my son—a lone flower he found and picked just for me. I wore it in my hair with pride throughout the day, feeling the weight of such a pure and simple act of love.

Creating this layout was not only an exercise in creativity but also a way to relive one of my fondest memories as a mother. It showcases how scrapbooking can transcend simple memory preservation to become a canvas for our most cherished moments.💕💕
