Reflecting on a Year of Growth in Scrapbooking: A Journey with Stampin’ Up! and Close To My Heart

Have you ever scrolled through your Facebook memories and stumbled upon a moment that made you pause and reflect? Recently, a memory popped up on my feed that took me back to one of the first scrapbook pages I ever made. It was a project I completed just before joining Close To My Heart as a Maker, and it reminded me that July marks my first anniversary on this incredible journey.
Looking at that early scrapbook page, I can’t help but marvel at how much has changed in just a year. The difference in my pages now compared to then is astonishing. It’s not just about my growth as a crafter, but also about the tools and products that have helped elevate my creations.
One of the biggest game-changers for me has been discovering the comprehensive suites offered by Stampin’ Up! These product suites include everything you need to create stunning, cohesive scrapbook pages—from coordinating papers and embellishments to stamps and dies. They take the guesswork out of design, allowing you to focus on what you love most: crafting beautiful memories.
I’m also thrilled to share that Stampin’ Up! is in the exciting process of expanding its scrapbooking section, drawing inspiration from some of the fantastic ideas found in Close To My Heart’s scrapbooking and card-making workshop kits. Items are being released on September 1st, 2024, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with! Because of the recent transition with Close To My Heart makers and the short amount of time they had to put something together, some items may or may not be sold separately. But moving forward, I think it will be something we can all use, especially if we’re already fans of CTMH products.
It’s so much fun to look back at my first few pages and see how far I’ve come. It’s a testament to the growth that happens when you invest in quality products and embrace new ideas. Whether you’re just starting or are a seasoned crafter, having the right tools can make all the difference in your creative journey.
